Try Cam to Cam Chat with Women Right in Your Browser
Cam to cam chat is a 1-on-1 video call where you can both turn your cameras on. No app to install: allow your camera and mic in the browser and you’re set.
In a cam to cam chat each person turns on their own camera, so you’re talking face to face instead of watching someone through a one-way window. On FoxVideoChat every cam to cam video chat is one-to-one: two people, two cameras, one call.

Cam2cam vs watching a live stream
Live streams on FoxVideoChat are a separate space where one host broadcasts to many viewers, and your camera stays off. A cam2cam call is the opposite: it’s just the two of you, and each of you decides what your own camera shows.
Rather not be on camera?
A video call asks for camera access to start, and you can switch your camera off at any point during the call. If you’d prefer to skip video entirely, the Start screen also has Audio and Text options.
Whether the other person’s camera is on is her choice, just as yours is.
Step by step
From This Page to Your First Cam to Cam Chat
It takes a few taps. The only step that trips people up is the camera permission, so that’s where the detail is.
1
Open the Start screen
Tap Start Cam to Cam Chat on this page. It opens FoxVideoChat’s Start screen in the same browser tab; there’s nothing to download.
2
Choose Video and tap Start
Video is the default. Audio and Text are next to it if you’d rather not use your camera.
3
Allow your camera and microphone
The first time, FoxVideoChat explains why it needs your camera and mic, then your browser asks for permission. Choose Allow. If you blocked it before, the app shows you how to turn it back on.

Camera and Mic Permissions on Phones and Computers
If the call can’t see your camera, the browser is almost always blocking it. Here’s how to allow it again on each kind of device.
iPhone and iPad (Safari)
Tap the page-settings button (aA) in the address bar, then Website Settings.
Set Camera and Microphone to Allow or Ask.
If that doesn’t help, open the Settings app › Safari (Settings › Apps › Safari on newer iOS) and check Camera and Microphone.
Reload FoxVideoChat and tap Start again.
Android (Chrome)
Tap the icon to the left of the web address, then Permissions or Site settings.
Turn Camera and Microphone on.
Still blocked? In Android Settings › Apps › Chrome › Permissions, allow Camera and Microphone for Chrome itself.
Reload the page and try again.
Desktop browsers
Click the icon at the left of the address bar and allow Camera and Microphone for this site.
Pick the right webcam and mic if your computer has more than one.
On a Mac, also check System Settings › Privacy & Security › Camera and Microphone for your browser.
Reload the page.
Another app that’s using your camera, like a different video call, can keep the browser from getting it. Close that app, then reload.

Prop your phone or laptop up so you’re not looking down into the lens.
Steady connection
Wi-Fi or a strong mobile signal keeps video smooth. Pause big downloads while you’re on a call.
Headphones help
They cut echo, keep the conversation to yourself and make your voice clearer.
Check your background
Make sure nothing behind you gives away your address, workplace or anything you’d rather keep private.
Cam to cam chat is a one-to-one video call where both people can have their cameras on, so you see each other while you talk. It’s different from a live stream, where one person broadcasts and everyone else watches.
Do both people need a camera for cam to cam chat?
To start a video call you’ll need to allow your camera and microphone. During the call either person can turn their camera off. If you don’t want video at all, choose Audio or Text on the Start screen.
Why can’t FoxVideoChat access my camera?
Usually the browser has camera access blocked for the site, or another app is using the camera. Allow Camera and Microphone in the browser’s site settings (or your phone’s settings for the browser), close other video apps, then reload the page.
Does cam to cam chat work on phones?
Yes. It runs in a modern mobile browser, such as Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android, with no app to download. On a phone you can also switch between the front and back camera during a call.
Can I turn my camera off during a call?
Yes. Use the camera button in the call controls to switch your video off and on again. Muting your microphone works the same way.
Is cam to cam chat free?
It’s free to open FoxVideoChat and tap Start. Video calls are billed per minute in coins at the rate shown in the app; a matched call may begin with a short free part, with a notice before charging starts.
